Kiosk in 7/8th scale

 For the 7-8th.info 2019 swap I started with the top of a lamp, and worked down.  The idea was to use craft sticks and make a simple project such as crates or a small building.

 Rather than use sticks from the store I had Nancy's help making my own from some of the oak I had on hand. 

 I tested out the different options of staining it.

 In the end it was an undercoating of black ink with a covering of red stain on the outside and teak oil on the inside. 

 The jars were filled with some of this stuff. 

 To close the door I added a magnet and a little chunk of steel as a latch. 

As usual my phone and windows and blogger do not do photo rotation well.
