sandblast and paint

Today I took the parts of the storage battery truck into work and used the valve shop blaster to glass bead blast them.  It went fast, granted I was only cleaning the parts up, not removing paint.  I was glad that the epoxy was difficult to blast off.  The Jeffrey letters stayed put also.

When I got home I set up the garage to paint.  I put the first layer of primer on, of course too heavy, and have a couple runs.  Nancy has volunteered to help me by painting, if I sand away my runs.

We hung the body of the storage battery truck from the rafters on the garage with the bike lock cable.
