Leverage

Today after a good long nap cut short by my purring cat I came downstairs and cut two little brackets to hold my control lever.  Drilled two 1/8th inch holes and bolted them together, ground them to size on the bench grinder, cleaned them up with a file and sandpaper and attached them to the storage battery truck.  Seeing the lever attached makes me smile.

It slides the cable back and forth just fine.
And if someone hits the lever, it will fall away, because it is held on with magnets.

The rest of the truck is disassembled waiting painting.  The weather is to be above 60 from Wednesday on.  Paint, paint, paint, and some more painting.  Then the final assembly will begin.  May 17th is not that far away.
